Welsh International Donna Morris collected her 2nd cap for her country in mainland Europe and came away with an astonishing victory. The race took place at The Trail de Guerlédan, in the heart of Brittany, in France and you can see Donna’s moment of victory by clicking here. As a club we can only reiterate how proud we are of Donna and hope her achievements help inspire others.

Builth and District’s very own Donna Morris achieved the ultimate dream last week of wearing the Welsh badge on her chest and representing her Country.

Donna was rightfully proud of her personal achievement and capped a very successful twelve months which has seen our gem in the crown rise from a very good club runner to one of the Nations elite.

“What a weekend, international xc in Dundonald, Belfast. First Welsh senior call up. Achieved my aim to not be last although really expected to be in such a high standard race. Not to shabby effort for an old veteran lol. Thanks to my team mates, the whole Welsh team and the coaches who travelled with us.. A memory to last a lifetime. #welshathletics”.

We are very proud of you Donna 💛🖤💛🖤
