Every year we set the challenge to our members of completing the 12 Days Of Christmas. This is a friendly competition to get members out running over the Christmas period. From Boxing Day until January 6th we run everyday covering 78.3 miles. The distances to be covered are 1 mile, 2 mile, 5k, 4 mile, 5 mile, 10k, 7 mile, 8 mile, 9 mile, 10 mile, 11 mile and 12 mile. One run a day and runs can be completed in any order. Sounds a tough challenge? The distances can be completed individually or as a team of up to 3 members.
*We also offer the 12k’s of Christmas, as an alternative option. Simple as 1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, 6k, 7k, 8k, 9k, 10k, 11k, 12k. (12k = 7.46 miles). A total of 78k, which is 48.47 miles.
We do compile basic results. Some members treat this challenge as a competition, some complete it just for fun. We just ask all to play fair and be considerate.
