Club Welfare

Welfare and Well-being Information
Builth and District Running Club takes the welfare and well-being of its members very seriously. We are obliged through our affiliation to Welsh Athletics, to implement the policies and procedures that they have established.

It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all those who participate in club events. We want our club to have a friendly, inclusive and supportive environment. Club members must adhere to the club rules and respect the rights and dignity of every club member – please see the code of conduct below. Builth And District Running Club expects members to promote positive aspects of the sport such as fair play and never condone rule violations. In the unlikely event that members feel challenged or violated in any way, please report it to the welfare officers.
Strict adherence to these values must be maintained when representing the club at events and races.

Key contacts:
Our trained welfare officers, Sophie Cook and Adam Johnstone, will listen to any issue that may arise. If you have concerns about yourself or a fellow member, please contact one of our officers via Messenger, email (builthrcwelfare@gmail.com), or face to face.
